Demolition day

It's a peculiar feeling to buy a new place and immediately start destroying walls. I think it's a little bit of the "boy" in John that made us do it. You know, like when you see that mud puddle and you could walk around it, but some meddling voice whispers, "jump in, jump in!"

Well then, let's begin. Safety glasses? Check. Hammer? Check. Crow bar? What on earth am I doing with a crow bar in my hand?

John took on the tricky electrical and plumbing jobs, tore out some walls and removed the bathtub.

By the end of the day, the bathroom was stripped bare and ready for the next step in the transformation!

  1. how cool! One of the BEST jobs I ever had, was the summer I worked for Scott's dad doing demolition on repo'd properties to prepare them for their fix-ups.
