Has it really been over 10 days since our last blog entry? Truth is there isn't that much new to show and we've had to shift gears a bit to doing work that actually creates income!
But during the downtime, I think we've gotten a bit of the building blahs. We've had a few setbacks...a bit of closet chaos, a chip in the countertop, annoying bits of damage from the move, a bubble in the linoleum, carpet samples that just aren't jazzin' me, the dishwasher wasn't drying, the fridge has a drip, there's a delay on our washer/dryer...it's all noise and stuff that will get fixed, but enough for me to boldly declare to John, "This has been a fun vacation, but now it's time to go home!"
In my manic moment I have, of course, conveniently forgotten that we've managed to get our new phones installed, voicemail set up, cleared out a few more boxes, mastered the neighborhood transportation system, met loads of wonderful neighbors and even fixed a few of the problems above.
I know this weekend will get us back into the swing of things...and we'll have positive news to share in the days ahead. But today, I think it's fair to say, TGIF.
sounds like the sprint is over and the endurance pace has set in. hang in there, you'll get your second wind!!
