Up on the house top...

Many of you have Christmas trees in your living room. We have 15’ scaffolding on wheels. Because the past week’s focus has been on hanging chandeliers.

Not being fond of heights, I wasn’t keen on watching John climb around on the scaffolding like a jungle gym…and I certainly wasn’t prepared to have to participate in any of the work.

Thankfully I was out of the house when he hung the living room chandelier. But I was not quite so lucky when the time came to handle the fixture for the dining area. I was baking when I heard John fighting a bit with the project, so I naturally extended the offer, “Let me know what I can do to help.” Of course I didn’t honestly expect to be asked! But the next thing I knew, I was scaling the side of the scaffolding to help.

Today we have two new chandeliers hanging in our living/dining room. I love them and have a hunch our new plants will too.

But now...can we please put up the Christmas tree?

  1. Maybe you should quickly organize a party so that John will be compelled to tear down the scaffolding and put the damned tree up already!
