It's finally stopped raining. We've had a fair amount of rain over the past few days and the road is scheduled to be in by the 28th, so this break is surely welcome. I hear the engines and know our road warriors are back today. I'm wondering...what will they be working on today?
It isn't long until I spot them...the paving crew! Before long the dump truck is backing up toward the asphalt machine that moves along the packed dirt distributing a wide spray of of hot asphalt to be rolled. John ran out to get a quick shot of the action while it was happening...and to get a whiff of the aromatic hot tar. Ish!
