A few years ago, John and I started our own holiday tradition--an annual gingerbread party/open house. Sure it sounds like a great idea...until you start hand decorating 150+ gingerbread cookies! And unfortunately I can't just make them simple, I have to create real "characters." I mean, if you're going to do it...mightaswell give it your all, right?
Of course, as you all know if you've been following along...John contributed is own signature spin to this endeavor by constructing a stand perfectly shaped to fit atop our half-round hallway table and to hold a whole army of the little guys (& dolls). Here's a look at the crew:
